July 4, 2021 Results

πŸ—½πŸ—½ A warm breeze had dried the manicured grass at Mar-A-Lawno. The course, #1 Traditional (for which there is no course card), was fast. A curated Fourth of July playlist 🎢 of songs played in the background. Mr. Wicket, Mr. Balls, Lefty, Wick O'Shay and Surferino played the first game. All but Wick O'Shay played the second.

There were no spectacular shots but many good roquets at distance. Surferino won the first game and would have won the second had his kill shot on Poison Lefty not gone awry leaving Lefty with a short kill shot that he aced.

Enjoying a 🌞 beautiful day outside at gorgeous Mar-A-Lawno with a group of competitive, congenial grand masters of fun was a fitting way to celebrate the Fourth. We look forward to many more such days. A special thank you goes to Miguel Miguel who professionally groomed and laid out the course, even filling in the grassless hole in front of wicket one. Here's hoping he doesn't chaff at Mr. Balls suggestion to pivot the stake and wickets one and two toward the driveway.
