The weather permitted playing two rounds at beautiful Mar-A-Lawno. Five Cowabungas, Sticky Wicket, Lefty, Surferino, Mr. Wicket and Wick O'Shay arrived bundled with beers in hand. The sun increasingly warmed the clear late afternoon sky. So much so that jackets and sweat shirts were removed for second round play.
No Shot-of-the Day occurred. A few mental lapses made for guffaws. Players enjoyed the renewed camaraderie and the curated playlist. Wick had to split after the first round. Masks were worn and distancing was practiced despite players' having been vaccinated; three once and two twice. All but Sticky wore the new blue Cowabunga Croquet Club t-shirts.
Surferino won the first round. Lefty won the second round. Not much else to report. It was a bitchin day.
