Masked, socially distanced and fully beered, five Cowabungas, Lefty, Mr. Wicket, Sticky Wicket, Wick O'Shay and Surferino, played two rounds at an exquisitely groomed Mar-A-Lawno. A surprisingly warm north wind prompted some to remove shirts (any resemblance to Chris Farley was unintentional but well deserved) and bask in the penetrating warmth of the summer sun. The eclectic playlist was spot on.
The first round was won by Lefty who raced around the course and dispatched everyone with solid kill shots. The second round was won by Surferino who charged from the middle of the pack to become poison and kill Sticky and Mr. Wicket. Thereafter, Surferino scored a long green glancing kill shot on Lefty who was parked near Wick who subsequently was easily murdered.
